Cancellation and Refunds Policy

1. Booking Confirmation

All service bookings made through Varasan.com are confirmed only after receipt of full payment or an agreed advance as specified during the booking process.
Upon confirmation, your selected time slots and consulting sessions are reserved exclusively for you.

 

2. Cancellation by Client

Clients may request cancellation of booked services under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation Request must be sent in writing to pm@varasan.com from the email ID used for booking.

  • Cancellation Timing and Charges:

    • More than 7 days before scheduled service date: 30% of the total booking amount will be deducted as cancellation charges.

    • Between 3 to 7 days before scheduled service date: 50% of the total booking amount will be deducted.

    • Less than 3 days before scheduled service date: No refund will be provided.

Important:

  • Administrative or payment gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable.

  • No-show or failure to attend a booked service session will be considered a last-minute cancellation and will not be eligible for any refund.
     

3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Varasan Consulting

Varasan Consulting reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session under exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Consultant unavailability due to unavoidable reasons

  • Technical or operational disruptions

  • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, political unrest)

In such cases:

  • Clients will be given the option to reschedule the service without any penalty.

  • Alternatively, a full refund of the paid amount will be offered if rescheduling is not acceptable to the client.
     

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

  • Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment used at the time of booking.

  • Varasan Consulting is not responsible for any delays caused by banks or payment gateways.
     

5. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are strictly non-refundable once booked:

  • Custom consulting assignments where work has already commenced

  • Specialized research reports, audits, or documentation projects

  • Any services bundled as promotional or discounted packages
     

6. Force Majeure

No refund or compensation shall be made where the performance of services is prevented or affected by "force majeure" events beyond the control of Varasan Consulting, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God

  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

  • War, riots, or civil commotion

  • Internet or utility failures

Incomplete or late requests may not be eligible for any refund consideration.
